Frequently Asked Questions
On engagement with Potter Independent Living, we agree on a care plan which details what you would want to us to do. This becomes our proforma in providing care for you daily. We are aware that care plans change and evolve with time and we do check regularly to ensure that the level of care provided is as agreed and appropriate for the service user.
We are unable to provide nursing duties, i.e. administration of injections and change of dressings. However be rest assured all duties will be discussed with you or your family in detail.
We do accept SDS option 1 and 2 payment options. We similarly accept private clients to whom we would usually invoice every fortnight. Please contact the office for further funding and payment details.
An agreed package of care is different for every individual, as such costs differ from person to person. Keep in mind some individuals would be entitled to care grants from the local authority. We do accept payments from the council. Please contact our office to discuss this further.
Our offices are open from 8:30 to 5pm Monday to Friday
During the weekends we have designated on call- emergency number to which all calls deemed as an emergency will be attended to.
