Complaints Procedure

Draft for review: this page is a starting template. Please review and confirm the details below (particularly the data controller, retention periods, complaints timescales and any regulator-specific wording) before this page goes live — it should reflect Potters' actual policies and procedures, not just this general framework.

We aim to provide a high standard of care, and we take concerns and complaints seriously.

How to raise a concern

In the first instance, please raise any concern with your care coordinator or contact our Aberdeen or Alford office directly — many issues can be resolved quickly this way.

Making a formal complaint

If you'd prefer to raise a formal complaint, or a concern hasn't been resolved informally, please put this in writing to us using the details on our Contact page. We will acknowledge your complaint and investigate it fairly and promptly.

Taking it further

If you remain unhappy with our response, you can contact the Care Inspectorate, which regulates our service.
